If you submit comments, messages, files, profile information, or similar content to our site, you are responsible for such content. When using our services, especially when using the sign-in features with Google, Microsoft, Facebook or X, we value your privacy. Basic authentication data provided by third-party sign-in services is processed only to provide secure access to the platform and to identify your user account.

1. Data Accessed

Our application accesses only the basic information necessary for authentication, account linking and secure platform access from your Google, Microsoft, Facebook or X account.

• Basic Profile Information: Your first name, last name, display name, username and, if available, profile picture.
• Email Address: Your email address for authentication, account linking, communication and user account management purposes.
• Platform User ID: The unique user identifier provided by Google, Microsoft, Facebook or X. This information is used to securely link your social account with your AHD Akademi account.

AHD Akademi cannot access the password of your Google, Microsoft, Facebook or X accounts. The social sign-in process is carried out through the secure authentication infrastructure of the relevant service provider.

2. Data Usage

The collected user data is used only for the following purposes:

• To create a unique user account in our system or to identify your existing account.
• To link your Google, Microsoft, Facebook or X account with your AHD Akademi account.
• To allow you to sign in securely to your account.
• To manage account administration and user support processes.
• To send you important notifications related to our services.
• To ensure platform security and prevent misuse.
• To carry out necessary procedures where legal obligations apply.

The application does not use, sell, rent or process this data for advertising, behavioral tracking, political targeting or marketing profiling purposes.

3. Data Sharing

Your personal data such as name, email address, username, profile picture and third-party platform user ID is not shared with advertising networks, data brokers or third parties for marketing purposes.

Your data may only be shared in the following cases:

• With authorized public authorities where there is a legal obligation,
• With service providers that are necessary for technical infrastructure, hosting, security or service continuity, only to the extent required,
• Where your explicit consent has been obtained.

When you sign in with Google, Microsoft, Facebook or X, the privacy policies and terms of use of the relevant service provider may also apply. AHD Akademi is not responsible for the data processing activities carried out by these platforms within their own systems.

4. Data Storage & Protection

Your data is stored on secure servers. Reasonable technical and administrative security measures are taken to prevent unauthorized access, data loss, misuse or unlawful processing.

Social sign-in connections are stored in association with your user account. In this context, the unique user identifier provided by the third-party platform is stored to link the relevant social account with your AHD Akademi account.

However, no method of data transmission over the internet or electronic storage can be guaranteed to be one hundred percent secure. In case of a suspected security breach, necessary investigations are carried out and required steps are taken in accordance with applicable law.

5. Removing Social Account Connections

Users may remove their Google, Microsoft, Facebook or X accounts connected to their AHD Akademi account at any time through profile settings. Removing a social account connection does not mean deleting your account on the relevant third-party platform; it only terminates the sign-in connection with AHD Akademi.

Once the social account connection is removed, you will no longer be able to sign in to AHD Akademi using that account. You may access the platform using the email and password method, if available, or by linking a social account again later.

6. Data Retention & Deletion

Retention: Your user data is stored in our system as long as your account is active or for the periods required by applicable legislation. When the purpose of processing no longer exists, the data is deleted, destroyed or anonymized.

Deletion Request: Users have the right to request the deletion of their account and related personal data. To delete your account and all related data:

• You may use the “Delete My Account” or similar account deletion option on the profile settings page,
• Or you may send an email to info@ahdakademi.com with the subject “Personal Data Deletion Request”.

Deletion requests are reviewed as soon as possible. For approved requests, the process is initiated within 7 business days whenever possible. Applications made under the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law are finalized as soon as possible and no later than 30 days, depending on the nature of the request.

Data that must be retained due to legal obligations may continue to be stored until the relevant retention period expires. Once the purpose of processing and the retention obligation no longer exist, the relevant data is deleted, destroyed or anonymized.

7. Your Rights Under KVKK

Under Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• To learn whether your personal data is being processed,
• To request information if your personal data has been processed,
• To learn the purpose of processing and whether the data is used in accordance with that purpose,
• To know the third parties to whom your data has been transferred, whether domestically or abroad,
• To request correction of incomplete or inaccurate personal data,
• To request the deletion or destruction of your personal data,
• To request notification of correction, deletion or destruction operations to third parties to whom the data has been transferred,
• To object to any adverse result arising from analysis by automated systems,
• To request compensation if you suffer damage due to unlawful processing of your personal data.
